The City of Beaverton is seeking a professional city manager to serve as chief administrative officer. Requires minimum 5 years of experience in municipal operations and 3 years of supervisory experience as manager/assistant manager or department head. Plans, organizes and directs all municipal operations, budget and finance, economic development, planning/zoning, project management, infrastructure planning, capital improvements, evaluation and improvement of services, labor negotiations, intergovernmental and community relations. Active DDA and community volunteers. The City has a Mayor and 6 Council members, 7 full-time and 3 part-time employees along with contracted services. Bachelor’s degree in business management, public administration or related field is required. The City provides a full range of public services and facilities: streets, parks, lakefront, ballfields, cemetery, water, sewer, police, hydroelectric dam, campground.
